Dr. Harold J. Feder, 93, Affiliated’s Founder and a doctor for more than 60 years died July 29, 2016. He was a leader in our profession, the Jewish Community and Niles Township government. He inspired two of his four sons to become podiatrists.
A recipient of the APMA’s Distinguished Service Citation, Dr. Feder served as a mentor to countless students and colleagues. He endowed the Feder Scholarship Award at Scholl College and donated an Orthopedics classroom there. He helped facilitate the merger of Scholl College with Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences in 2001.
Just weeks before his passing he celebrated 75 years of marriage to his wife, Selma.
He will be missed.
