Dr. Jason Kalk

Dr. Jason Kalk, graduated with honors from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine with his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He completed advanced surgical training with a three year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Upstate, NY under the tutelage of Dr. Guido LaPorta. Dr. Kalk has special interest in Forefoot & Rearfoot Surgery, Charcot Foot Reconstruction, Limb Salvage, and Ankle Arthroscopy. He is the Director of Podiatric Residency Training at Swedish Hospital. Dr. Kalk is certified with WoundCare by the American Board of Wound Management and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Kalk was raised in Upstate, NY and proudly served in the United States Air Force. His hobbies include weight training, fitness, and motorcycles. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children and his dogs.
Dr. Jacob M Richey
Chicago, IL Podiatrist
Jacob M Richey, DPM was born in Avon, Indiana where he obtained his Eagle Scout award. He is a graduate of Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. He obtained his medical degree from Dr. William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. His surgical residency training was at Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, New York and affiliated training with the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland.
In addition to his surgical practice, he is the Podiatric Section Chief at Northshore Swedish Covenant hospital & a member of the teaching faculty for the Podiatric surgical residency program.
Dr. Richey is a member of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, weight training, camping, rucking & outdoor photography.
Dr. Nathan Kramer
Dr. Nathan Kramer is a distinguished member of the team at Affiliated Podiatrists, bringing expertise in both forefoot surgery and wound management. A native of Skokie, Illinois, Dr. Kramer completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois before earning his medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Kramer completed a rigorous three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Northport VA Medical Center on Long Island, where he gained advanced training in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery. During his final year, he served as Chief Resident, demonstrating leadership and excellence in his field. He is Board Qualified in Forefoot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and Board Certified in Wound Management as a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS).
He is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is an active member of the medical staff at Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital, where he also contributes to the teaching faculty for the Podiatric Surgical Residency Program. Additionally, Dr. Kramer is on staff at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL.
Dr. Mona Kafeel
Dr. Mona Kafeel is a dedicated podiatrist affiliated with Swedish Hospital under Endeavor Health in Chicago, Illinois, and Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.
She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois, following a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she graduated with distinction. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Kafeel conducted research on the social disparities faced by healthcare workers, held various leadership positions for pre-medical organizations, including young women in STEM.
Dr. Kafeel completed a rigorous three-year podiatric residency at Swedish Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Her extensive training encompasses limb salvage, elective and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle, wound care, and sports medicine.
She is committed to building strong, respectful relationships with her patients, emphasizing integrity and professionalism in her practice. She prioritizes patient empowerment through thorough diagnosis, personalized education, and a detailed discussion of treatment options to ensure informed decision-making.
Originally from India, Dr. Kafeel grew up on the Northside of Chicago. She values quality time with family, traveling, and exploring various cuisines.
